Wednesday April 27th, 2011 - There will be NO Volleyball

Teams are encouraged to participate in the “A Taste For Life” event where participating restaurants donate 25% of their evening proceeds to select AIDS organizations. GOV has a proud tradition of participating in this venture for the past several years. Wednesday May 4th, 2011 and Wednesday May 11th, 2011 - GOV End of Season Tournament

Teams will be ranked in pools based on their overall performance for the season.

Pool A will consist of teams ranked 1, 2 and 3

Pool B will consist of teams ranked 4, 5 and 6

Pool C will consist of teams ranked 7, 8, and 9

Each team will play a best 2 out of 3 match against the other two teams in their pool. The top two teams of each pool will then play a final best 3 out
of 5 match to determine the overall winner of each pool. Prizes will be awarded to the top team in each pool.

End of Season Tournament Rules / Regulations

1. In order to play for a team during the tournament you must have played at least three Wednesday nights of volleyball with that team. In other words, if you have used spares please ensure they have played the minimum of three evenings with your team to be eligible to play for your team in the tournament. Please confirm any use of spares with the Wednesday night convener (TJ).

2. Each player can only play for one team during the duration of the tournament.

3. If a team does not field six players per game then they will be in default and will forfeit each game until they field six players.
