How to Join GOV

Regular Season

During the regular season, for the recreational division, just show up on Monday night at 8:00 pm.

For the competitive league, show up for at Wednesday night games at the start of season for try-outs and ask to speak to a team captain or a member of the executive. Alternatively, you may also send an e-mail. Play starts at 7:45 pm.

Regular Season Team Fees (Sept - May)

There are fees to cover the cost of equipment, gym rental, and social activities such as our Christmas party, end-of-season party, and other events. For Monday you can pay per night, per semester or for the full season.

Recreational (Monday nights):

  • one night drop-in: $3.00
  • one semester (Sept - Dec): $30.00
  • the season (Sept - May): $60.00

Competitive (Wednesday nights)

Fees per team are $525.00 for the season (October to May) if paid before November 1st, 2009. After November 1st, fees are $575.00 per team.

GOV plays in the gymnasium of École élémentaire catholique Vision-Jeunesse (the Vision-Jeunesse Catholic Elementary School) at 235 McArthur Road, Ottawa.
