A Thank You From The Youth Services Bureau

Once again this year at Christmas, Gay Ottawa Volleyball sponsored several youth living in the Youth Services Bureau Housing program. We would like to thank all of you for your generously, thoughtfully considered and wonderfully presented gift bags.

Your gesture has been a timely reminder of the true meaning of Christmas and an inspiration to the youth and staff in the program. It has also had a positive impact on the emotional and overall well being of the young people we serve. As an outside witness I wish to share that all the youth opened their gifts with excited smiles, sparkling eyes and heartfelt gratitude.

On behalf of all the young people and staff of the YSB Housing Program thank you very much! Ruth and I were proud to nominate GOV for the Capital Xtra Queer Heroes Awards this year and wish you all the best.
